Quick Links   Kreating With Kim   Memory Lane   Scrap Pink Dear Scrapbookers-- Please join us in the nationwide Scrap Pink campaign to benefit breast cancer research.   We are getting together for a weekend of scrapbooking and fun.  Scrap Pink was created by Scrapbooks, etc. to benefit  Susan G. Komen for the Cure.    The weekend will be filled with scrapbooking time with your friends, ideas to share, prizes and lots of sweet surprises!   Our weekend begins at 6:00 pm Friday night, September 26 and continues until 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 28.    So, you probably wondering how you can sign up as quickly as possible for such an awesome weekend?   Space is limited, so act fast!    First, choose your option below...   Full weekend - 6:00 pm Friday - 3:00 pm Sunday - $100 Friday night only - 6:00 pm - midnight - $35 Saturday only - 8:00 am - midnight - $75 Sunday only - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm - $40   Second, choose your payment option... We have set up paypal buttons for easy credit card payments.  If you choose to use paypal, you must pay entire balance at the time of registration.     You may also pay the full amount via check or in 2 payments.  We must receive either the full amount or a 50% deposit at time of registration.  Your registration will not be complete until payment is received.  Should you choose to make 2 payments, initial payment due at time of registration (no later than July 25th) with 2nd installment due by August 22nd.   Payments can be made out to Kim Fairbanks and mailed to:  P.O. Box 202, Lovettsville, VA 20180.  Or, stop by and visit Laura at Memory Lane...she can accept your payment as well! When you register for this awesome event, your registration includes:   * 6 feet of personal work space! * Snacks Friday night, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday...of course we'll have sweet treats all weekend long! * Free make and takes all weekend * Vendors for your shopping convenience * Tool table for that includes, Sizzix, Quickutz, custom cutting systems, punches, and much more *Scrapbooking giveaways and grand prizes!   This amazing weekend retreat will be at the newly built Holiday Inn Express in Charles Town, WV.  The hotel has given us a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $79 (plus 9% tax) a night for rooms.  You will need to call the hotel and tell them you are with the Scrap Pink weekend retreat.   You may share rooms if you like.  Each guest does get the complimentary hot/cold breakfast buffet each day.    About Scrap Pink    Scrapbooks etc. is partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to hold a "Scrap Pink" fundraising campaign in September 2008 across North America. The campaign will culminate in an exciting on-site crop hosted by each participating shop the weekend of September 26-28, 2008. At this event, scrapbookers like you can create layouts and projects on any topic you choose. Ten dollars of your crop fee will support Komen for the Cure's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures. What an awesome idea--one of my favorite hobbies supporting research for an illness that effects so many! I'm in treatment right now for Breast Cancer, so I'll most definitley be there-God willing!
